Elections to bring new blood to senate
by Ka ‘Ohana staff

The student government needs to fill its 15 seats so events can be planned next year.

Nominations for student senate positions are currently being accepted. Applicants should be registered WCC students enrolled in at least 6 credits with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Elections will be held in ‘Äkoakoa cafeteria April 20, 21 and 22.

Senators can serve in various capacities as officers, caucus representatives and liaisons of the student body to faculty and administration.

If you would like to run for senator, fill out a nomination form which can be found at the cafeteria, Na‘auao, Pälanakila, and ‘Alaka‘i.

Forms should be returned to ‘Äkoakoa Room 212. The deadline to apply is April 16.
